CANCELED: Our Spring Season Concerts on 3/28, 4/18, and 5/2 have been cancelled
Due to the escalating situation caused by the coronavirus we have reluctantly cancelled the spring season.
These three programs have been rescheduled for the 2021-22 Season.
Our concerts normally take place at Sleepy Hollow High School, 210 N. Broadway, Sleepy Hollow, New York. For most residents of Westchester County, we are only a short drive from home.
Please note that this year the March 28, 2020 PUBLIQuartet concert will take place at Pleasantville High School.
Sleepy Hollow High School is located on the east side of North Broadway, between Route 448 and Tarrytown. A traffic light on Route 9 signals the very well marked entrance. From there, follow the left-hand access road around the main building to free parking areas and the auditorium entrance.
The entrance from Route 448 would be most direct for those coming from the east (e.g. the Taconic and Saw Mill River Parkways, Route 9A, Pleasantville and environs). Take Route 117 west (towards the river) to the first traffic light after Route 9A; turn left (south) onto Route 448, following it through the hamlet of Pocantico Hills for 2.3 miles. At that point Route 448 makes a right turn. Then continue 1.4 miles west toward the river. The entrance to the high school is on the left. Look for Friends of Music Concert signs at the entrance.
The well-lit ground-level entrance to the auditorium is on the north side of the high school building, opposite the parking lot off Route 448 and slightly up the hill to the east of the parking lot along the access road from Route 9. Handicapped parking is available close to the auditorium entrance and is clearly marked. There is a drop-off and turnaround area close to the auditorium entrance.
Handicapped parking spaces are available in the parking lot adjacent to the main entrance.
Park free in one of the convenient lots.
All seating is unreserved general seating. We open the doors as soon as the musicians finish warming up on stage, which is normally about one-half hour before the concert.
