               Welcome to Friends of Music !

Since 1954 we have been committed to presenting the most distinguished performers of our time. In addition, every season Friends of Music also takes pride in presenting rising younger artists.

Our concerts feature artists who perform at Lincoln Center, at Carnegie Hall, and at great music halls around the world.  Yet our ticket prices are the best music bargain in the metropolitan New York area.  We have been able to keep our concerts affordable over the years largely because of the support of our loyal and generous audiences, many of whom are regular contributors. 

We present six concerts each season, three in the fall and three in the spring.  All are held on Saturday evenings at 8:00 p.m. Fall concerts in 2008 will be held at the Pleasantville High School in Pleasantville, New York.  Our Spring 2009 concerts will be held at the Sleepy Hollow High School.  Seats are not reserved.  Audience members are admitted to the auditorium at approximately 7:30 p.m., following the artists' on-stage rehearsal.
